Abstract
A strike is a form of protest in which workers stop performing their duties to demand improvements in their working conditions. It is not merely about ceasing to work; it involves a collective action with social, economic, and emotional impact. Throughout history, it has served as a powerful tool for achieving labor rights, as evidenced by historical events ranging from Ancient Egypt to the Haymarket strike in Chicago or the global textile industry strike in 1919. A key aspect of any strike is persuasion: gaining more participants, securing public support, and exerting pressure on employers. From a psychological standpoint, many people join a strike not only out of necessity but also because they feel something is unjust, due to group solidarity, or because of past experiences that left a lasting impression. To understand all of this, the study is based on a qualitative approach and combines psychological, historical, and social perspectives, allowing the strike to be seen as a complex and deeply human phenomenon
